H400CNC has 6 traveling axes, of which 5 are powered, and 4 can travel simultaneously.The following are list of the 5 powered axes:
B axis - hob spindle rotation
C axis - work table rotation
X axis - radial feed motion,
Y axis - tangential feed motion
Z - axial feed movement (vertical)
Each of the above 5 axis of the machine is driven by an independent AC servo motor and programmable. An "electronic gear box (EGB)" is used to realize the indexing motion and differential compensation so as to realize gear machining by the generation method.
